Memorial Day Weekend

Well I enjoyed my final 3 day weekend and summer is just right around the corner. For Memorial Day Dad grilled some burgers and the boys played outside which is by far their favorite past time! I took the booys to chickfila to play during the day. They hated the food but loved the play area. We also made a trip to Toys R Us and they were so cute. The both got "broom-brooms" also known as motorcycles! I bought two little cheap ones and then we got one pretty cool bigger one for them to share. They forgot about the big one so I figured I can put it away for now. Our Toys R Us trip was really intended for buying a potty which we did too! Jason picked out the Disney's Cars potty. It vroommmms when you flush it....not so sure about the potty training but hopefully it will be something I can start working on this summer. We will see. Here are some pictures from the weekend. I have a photo on my phone of Jason in the store holding his potty which I really need to upload too.

Boys are made of all things dirty...here's the proof!

Today was one of those days...without going into too much detail let's just say it wasn't the best but it did end nicely. The boys and I played for the longest time outside this afternoon in the backyard. The swingset is still exciting to them but we have one little problem. They have a hard time getting up and down all the levels because the ladders are a little big. They will have to grow into it and practice! Reece loves to swing in my lap and Jason just likes all the sand on the ground. Go figure. He was covered in dirt from head to toe! For dinner they ate 3 spinach and cheese scrablmed eggs and chowed down on some toast and taters. After dinner we went on a walk and then came in for baths. I was going to clean the kitchen while they watch the Backyardigans but Jason took my hand going "ugh ugh ugh" (that's Jason for he wants something) and lead me into the livingroom a patted the couch. Reece went upstairs and came back with two blankets and a teddy bear so the three of us snuggled up and ended the night with some Backyardigans. So sweet...

Many Memories To Be Made...

When Ryan dropped the boys off today they started looking for Papa since his truck was here. I had Mom and Dad ready for the camera in the backyard because something told me they would spot the swing set before we were done unpacking all of their stuff from Ryan's car. And of course they found it! I pretty much missed the reaction of seeing it so thank goodness for modern day technology!

The boys tired out quickly since they got in close to bed time but something tells me that they will be playing in here for a while to come. We are going to put a baby safety gate up on the entrance of the rockwall before somebody flips out! I just pray they don't hurt themselves, but I think if we keep a close eye on them and they get plenty of practice then we should be in good shape! Pictures to come...I must get to bed...early morning!

Tick Tock Race the Clock!

Tick tock tick tock....Mom and Dad worked on the swing set Saturday from 9:30am-8:45pm. This is where they were when I went inside to clean house around 7:30pm...

Today they were back at it a little after 9:00am and just barely got finished before the boys got home. Had it not of been for Ryan running a little late it would have been incomplete! Needless to say the finish product looks amazing...now all it is missing is two sweet little monkeys to crawl around on it!
