Sweet Sweet Summer Time!

Tuesday, June 7, was my last working day and Wow it’s been so nice to be home with the boys again. The days are long and this job is way more tiring than a classroom of 21, but none the less much more rewarding. (However I think 2 months will be plenty of time to enjoy and then it’s hi ho hi ho off to work I go!) We have enjoyed being outdoors a lot! The boys love playing outside and in the new swing set. I have learned that during the nap time I too can enjoy the sun and work on my tan since the tanning membership didn’t work out! Those places could make much more money if they had child care built into the membership for the 20 minutes that you tan…but that’s just my suggestion!

Outdoor activities have included swimming in the baby pool, coloring, toting the wagon around picking up sticks and toys from the yard, playing in the waterhose, riding the mule with Grandma and Papa, bubbles…you name it!
















This video is pretty funny. It just goes to show the personalities of both boys. Jason, the little stinker and Reece, the happy child unless stinker does something to him. (...ithe mess in the garage at the end)

Time Out

Gotta love time out straight out of the bath tub. Sorry baby but next time no throwing! (PS this is our number 1 reason for going to time out currently) They are terrible about chunking every and anything!

Last Day of School

The boys love being around other kids so I had Mom bring them up for the final day of school. The kids loved having Jason & Reece there just as much as they loved getting to be there. This year has been so great and the kids even better. It was great to have one final fun day with all of the kids I love the most. Here are some pictures from the day. Memorial Day Weekend

Well I enjoyed my final 3 day weekend and summer is just right around the corner. For Memorial Day Dad grilled some burgers and the boys played outside which is by far their favorite past time! I took the booys to chickfila to play during the day. They hated the food but loved the play area. We also made a trip to Toys R Us and they were so cute. The both got "broom-brooms" also known as motorcycles! I bought two little cheap ones and then we got one pretty cool bigger one for them to share. They forgot about the big one so I figured I can put it away for now. Our Toys R Us trip was really intended for buying a potty which we did too! Jason picked out the Disney's Cars potty. It vroommmms when you flush it....not so sure about the potty training but hopefully it will be something I can start working on this summer. We will see. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
